What is Covered?

ENVO’s limited warranty covers intrinsic product defects, including:

  • Manufacturing defects in the frame or components.
  • Electrical system failures (e.g., controller circuit failure, motor defects).
  • Battery defects (excluding normal wear and degradation).

What is NOT Covered?

The following are NOT covered under warranty:

  • Regular maintenance & adjustments: Chain, brakes, tires, gear tuning, loose connectors, etc.
  • Labor costs & tune-ups: Routine service is the responsibility of the customer.
  • Wear & tear: Scratches, cosmetic damage, and natural material degradation.
  • Improper use or modifications: Unauthorized modifications void the warranty.
  • Accidents or misuse: Damage caused by impact, collision, falls, improper storage, or user error.
  • Water damage: Exposure to rain, snow, salt, or submersion in water.

📌 Note: Warranty service covers replacement of defective parts onlylabor and shipping costs are not included. Customers are responsible for returning defective parts to our service center for repair or replacement.

Warranty for Non-ENVO Products

For third-party products sold by EbikeBC (e.g., Bafang, Shimano, Bosch, BionX, etc.), the original manufacturer’s warranty policy applies. Customers must contact the manufacturer directly for warranty claims.

Understanding Your Responsibilities

E-bikes and e-scooters are real-world vehicles, subjected to daily vibrations, impacts, and environmental factors. Proper maintenance, storage, and care are essential for longevity.

Customer Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance (e.g., brake checks, chain lubrication, firmware updates).
  • Use correct installation methods and avoid unauthorized modifications.
  • Ensure proper storage in a dry, temperature-controlled environment.

📌 Failure to follow recommended maintenance and care may void the warranty.

What Happens if a Defective Part is Identified?

1️⃣ Remote Troubleshooting:

  • Most issues can be resolved without part replacement.
  • Our team will guide you through diagnostic tests via email, phone, or video call.

2️⃣ Replacement Process:

  • If the issue is confirmed as a warranty-covered defect, a replacement part will be provided.
  • Customers may be required to return defective parts for verification.

📌 In some cases, customers may need to purchase a replacement part upfront and receive a refund once the defective part is returned and inspected.
