What is the EBikeBC MarketPlace? The EBikeBC MarketPlace is our official outlet for genuine ENVO and EBikeBC inventory sold at a discount — including used and pre-owned e-bikes, demo units, open-box bikes, "as-is" products, and spare parts such as conversion kits, racks, motors, controllers, and tires. Every item is sourced directly by EBikeBC in Burnaby, BC, so you get authentic parts and clearance pricing without the risk of an unknown private seller.
What the condition grades mean?
What does "open-box" mean? An open-box item is a product whose packaging was opened — typically a return, display, or photographed unit — but that is in essentially new, fully functional condition. Open-box e-bikes retain the standard ENVO limited warranty unless the listing states otherwise.
What does "demo" mean? A demo unit is a bike used for test rides or events. Demo bicycles typically show under 100 km of usage and minor cosmetic wear, and they carry a limited three-month warranty. Demo units are sold "as-is" and are Final Sale — no refunds or returns.
What does "pre-owned" or "used" mean? A pre-owned unit is a previously owned e-bike that may show higher usage and normal wear. Pre-owned units are sold "as-is" with no warranty, unless you purchase a one-year extended coverage plan within 10 days of the sale. They are Final Sale.
What does "as-is" mean on the MarketPlace? "As-is" means the item is sold in its current condition, with any wear or imperfections described in the listing, and is Final Sale, it cannot be returned or refunded. As-is applies to demo, pre-owned, clearance, and most spare parts. We disclose known cosmetic or functional details in each listing so you can buy with confidence.
What does "Final Sale" mean? Final Sale means the item is not returnable, not refundable, and not supported with replacement parts. Per our Terms, Final Sale applies to spare parts, conversion kits, demo and pre-owned units, and legacy or discontinued products. Standard limited warranty still applies to a Final Sale item only where it is not expressly excluded (for example, new spare parts).
Warranty on used, demo & spare parts
Do used or "as-is" items come with a warranty?
It depends on the grade. Open-box items keep the standard limited warranty; demo units carry a 3-month limited warranty; pre-owned/used units have no warranty unless you add the optional one-year extended plan within 10 days. Always check the warranty line on the individual listing.
Are spare parts and conversion kits under warranty?
New spare parts and conversion kits are covered by ENVO's standard limited warranty unless expressly excluded, but they are designated Final Sale, meaning they cannot be returned and are not supported with further replacement parts. Used or as-is parts are sold without warranty.
Can I add a warranty to a used or pre-owned item?
Yes. On pre-owned units you can purchase one-year extended coverage within 10 days of the sale. An extended warranty product is also available on EBikeBC for eligible items. Demo units already include a 3-month warranty.
Is the warranty transferable to a second owner? ENVO warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser. If you buy a pre-owned MarketPlace unit, treat it as sold "as-is" with no transferred warranty unless you purchase the extended plan within the 10-day window.
Returns, refunds & cancellations
Can I return an as-is or Final Sale item?
No. As-is, demo, pre-owned, clearance, and Final Sale spare parts are non-returnable and non-refundable. Because of this, please review the listing details, photos, and compatibility before ordering, and contact us with any questions first.
What is the return window for eligible MarketPlace items?
Items that are new, unused, and in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery. You must first request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before shipping anything back. As-is and Final Sale items are excluded.
Is there a restocking fee?
Yes — a restocking fee of 10% to 15% may apply to eligible returns. The exact fee is confirmed when your RMA is issued.
Who pays for return shipping?
You do, unless the return is due to an ENVO product defect or a fulfillment error on our part. In those cases ENVO covers return shipping; otherwise you bear the full cost and risk of return shipping.
My as-is item arrived defective or not as described — what now?
Contact us right away with photos and your order number. Even on Final Sale items, if the product arrived damaged in transit or materially different from the listing, we'll make it right. This is separate from buyer's-remorse returns, which aren't available on as-is goods.
Can EBikeBC cancel my order?
Yes. ENVO reserves the sole right to accept or decline any order, including for typographical, clerical, or pricing errors. If a price is displayed incorrectly, we may cancel the affected order and notify you before charging or shipping.
Shipping, pickup & payment
Do you ship MarketPlace items across Canada?
Yes — we ship used parts, kits, and e-bikes Canada-wide. Larger items like complete e-bikes ship via freight; small parts ship by standard courier. Shipping cost and timeframe are shown at checkout. See our Shipping Policy for details.
Can I pick up locally in Burnaby or Vancouver?
Local pickup is often available at our Burnaby location for MarketPlace items, which also lets you inspect a used or demo unit in person before buying. Select local pickup at checkout if offered, or contact us to arrange it. (Confirm availability per item — see note below.)
What payment and financing options are available?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay, plus Affirm financing so you can pay over time. Financing availability may vary on clearance and as-is items.
Discounts & buying advice
How do I know a used part or conversion kit fits my e-bike?
Because spare parts are Final Sale, confirm compatibility before you order. Check the part's specs (voltage, motor type, wheel size, mounting) against your bike, and message us with your model and any photos — our Burnaby team will verify fit. We'd rather answer first than have you stuck with an incompatible Final Sale part.
Do promo codes, discounts, or the referral program apply to MarketPlace items?
No. Used, demo, refurbished, open-box, and clearance items — along with standalone parts, batteries, and chargers — are excluded from the referral program and most promotions, since they're already discounted.
